A BRIEF HISTORY
Jennifer Russell and Russ Russell (no relation!) founded Russell Communications Group with the idea that with Russ’ extensive development experience and Jennifer’s marketing instincts and writing abilities, they could build a partnership that could have a positive impact in SE Michigan.
In late 2022, after realizing that they shared similar values and vision, they found themselves in the position to begin a new venture based on trust, honesty, integrity, and grit. Russ and Jennifer specialize in nonprofit consulting and fundraising, small business growth, and strategic planning for projects and programs.
MISSION
Russell Communications Group is a changemaker in Southeast Michigan. Offering holistic, progressive strategies for nonprofits, communities, and businesses that want to create lasting transformation, RCG is committed to making an impact on the world.
VISION
We help organizations live in their values by creating plans based on their own goals, steeped in the belief that a “small number of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world” (Margaret Mead).

Jennifer A. Russell (she/her)
Jennifer is a freelance communications specialist and grant writer. She believes that everyone has a story to tell, and that we all have our own book to write.
